    We are WiseGuy Maine Coons, a CFA, TICA and LCWW certified Cattery. We are a small in-home cattery that sells Maine Coon cats and kittens. Our cats and kittens live in the home with us and our pack of eight large dogs. Which means tons of noise, action and slobber, these kittens can handle it all! 


    We focus on health and temperament here at WiseGuy. We start by selecting genetically clear stock that fits as close to the breed standards as possible. We then add in thorough temperament assessments and training from birth till the day they go to their new home, so you get a wonderfully socialized Maine Coon cat. This helps us ensure that you get the best kitten possible to add to your family. We are lucky here to have over three decades of experience in training and behavioral work with dogs, cats and horses. And that experience transfers to you and your future furry friend. So, kick back and enjoy the photos as you peruse the site. Family First: A 3-Dimensional Life 

Our cats are cherished members of our family, and we treat them as such. They are never confined to cages but instead enjoy free rein of our home. With extensive three-dimensional spaces to explore, they can adventure to their hearts' content—whether we’re there or not. We’ve even created unique “offices” attached to the ceiling, connected by an intricate system of rope bridges, providing endless opportunities for climbing, lounging, and playing. This setup ensures they live enriched, happy lives as part of our loving household.

A Rare Snow Day at WiseGuy Cattery

I am a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience specializing in capturing animals and animal sports. Occasionally, I embrace impromptu photoshoots to create unique and interesting images. In January 2025, when we had a rare snowfall here in Texas, I initially went outside to photograph the dogs enjoying the snow. However, our Maine Coon cats weren’t about to miss out on the fun—they decided to join the action! The result was an incredible snowy photoshoot with these majestic cats as they explored the fresh snowflakes while the snow continued to fall. It was a perfect moment to capture the stunning beauty and playful personalities of our Maine Coons in a rare and magical setting.
